What this map is not
Land surface temperature is not air temperature, not mean radiant
temperature and not thermal comfort. The 30 m grid is a resampling artefact
of a 100 m native TIRS footprint. Scene cloud cover is a whole-swath metric
over roughly 185 by 180 km. Population is an ecological measure and cannot be
read down to individuals. Aggregating onto hexagons is a change of support,
