Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing Geospatial Careers at geospatial.careers, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the site.
Geospatial Careers is an independent geospatial labour-market research project operated by Gerardo Ezequiel Martin Carreno.
2. Research use
The public site provides market research, evidence notes, data-quality context and contribution routes for the geospatial community. It is not professional, legal, financial, employment or recruitment advice.
Findings are presented with known limits. You are responsible for checking whether any public evidence is suitable for your own analysis, citation or decision-making.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful, misleading or harmful activity.
- Submit false, abusive or impersonated research contributions.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or private research material.
- Interfere with the site's operation, security or performance.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract data without written permission.
4. Database rights and publication boundaries
The research datasets, quality notes, summaries, taxonomies, designs and original analysis are protected by copyright and database rights. Public pages may be cited with attribution, but substantial extraction, redistribution or automated collection is not permitted without written authorisation.
Some public research artefacts may be released separately under a stated open licence. Where a separate licence is published for a dataset or release, that licence applies to that specific artefact only.
5. Community contributions
If you submit corrections, salary signals, source suggestions, tool notes or other research contributions, you confirm that you have the right to share them. You grant Geospatial Careers permission to use, summarise and aggregate those contributions for research, quality improvement and public release notes.
Public outputs are aggregated. Individual submissions are not sold, and sensitive contributor details are not published as part of the public research.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geospatial Careers and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the site or reliance on public research outputs.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated as the research project and publication model evolve. The date above shows the most recent revision.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
9. Contact
